This part-time position is an ongoing recruitment in which applications are collected year-round. Applicants must be available to teach the daytime, evening or weekend hours. Position Responsibilities GENERAL FACULTY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate in relevant department assessment activities.

POSITION SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Instruct welding/fabrication students in blueprint reading.

Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:

• Five (5) years' of experience working with blueprints as a welder, fabricator or engineer.
• Experience working with engineers or as an engineer in reviewing or drawing of blueprints.
• Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance.
• Experience teaching or training people on reading blueprints.
• Ability to read weld symbols.
• Teaching experience.
• Ability to work well as a member of a team.
• Ability to work well with people of all ages from academically, culturally, and socioeconomically diverse backgrounds.
