Your Role

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll join a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about delivering a seamless customer experience with empathy and respect. You'll take inbound calls from customers, providing support and guidance on a range of topics, including:

• Assisting customers plan for retirement
• Accessing investments
• Updating personal information
• Supporting families during bereavements

You'll be the first point of contact for customers, and your exceptional communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability will ensure that every interaction is a positive one.

Key Responsibilities

* Handle inbound calls from customers, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner

• Provide support and guidance on life assurance, savings, investments, and pension plans
• Update customer records and information accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with colleagues to resolve complex customer issues
• Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and regulatory requirements
• Meet or exceed performance targets, including call handling times and customer satisfaction ratings

Essential Qualifications

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to remain calm under pressure and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the financial services industry

• Knowledge of life assurance, savings, investments, and pension plans
• Experience with CRM systems and other IT applications
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a hybrid remote environment, with occasional travel to our office in Edinburgh
