Responsibilities
- Producing clean, efficient code based on specifications and industry best practices
- Accountable for working with outside data sources and APIs
- Ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Understanding of continuous integration / continuous delivery concepts and the ability to troubleshoot related issues
- Actively participate in projects kick-off meetings and understand requirements
- Providing time estimates for new initiatives when requested
- Accountable for unit tests implementation when required
- Working on other technologies when required by the company
Requirements
Must-Have
- From 4 years of experience using WordPress with decent React knowledge
- Experience with Next.JS, React.JS
- Basic English
- Experience with Git, CLI
- Experience with building and using APIs
- Experience writing Unit tests for WordPress projects
- Understanding of WordPress best practices
- Understanding of Docker and its usage
- Experience with relational databases
- Focused on performance and cross platform compatibility
- Experience in developing custom modules
- Experience in third party and WordPress APIs integrations
- Good understanding of SEO and accessibility best practices
Nice to Have
- Any additional programming language is a plus
- Involvement in the WordPress community is a big plus
- Knowledge of JavaScript
- Experience in working with WeChat API
