Actuarial Analyst
Northbridge Financial Corporation is a leading Canadian commercial property and casualty insurance company. They are seeking an Actuarial Analyst to provide insights across teams, ensuring adequate reserves and assisting in operational decisions through data analysis and collaboration with actuaries and data scientists.
Responsibilities
- Providing insights to teams including claims, finance, and underwriting
- Ensuring reserves are adequate to protect customers
- Explaining actuarial numbers to leaders without an actuarial background
- Collaborating with other actuaries and data scientists
- Developing new reserving methodologies and utilizing new tools
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Sciences or a Master's Degree in Mathematics
- P&C Reserving and Stress Testing (FCT/DCAT) Experience
- 3 CAS exams preferred, or equivalent experience
