- Instruct and assist students (one-on-one) on all academic subjects (ELA, Algebra, Geometry, etc.)
- Work with students from diverse backgrounds who may be considered at-risk
- Communicate professionally verbally, in writing, and through email
- Administer discipline fairly
- Learn and use specialized software, websites, and databases
- Use data to make sound decisions regarding student academic growth and development
- Must be highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly desirable
- Tutoring and/or teaching high school students experience (minimum one year)
- Minimum: Associate's degree in education or related field
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in education or related field
- Paid holidays and school closures (e.g. Spring Break, Winter Recess)
