Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Associate, you'll be responsible for:

• Providing exceptional customer service, ensuring every customer feels valued and appreciated
• Processing transactions accurately and efficiently on our POS register
• Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, both inside and out
• Ensuring merchandise is stocked and presented in an attractive and inviting manner
• Assisting customers with propane needs, as required
• Working collaboratively with your team to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service
• Taking direction from your Supervisor and contributing to a positive and productive work environment

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A friendly, outgoing, and helpful attitude
• The ability to process transactions accurately and efficiently
• A willingness to take direction from your Supervisor and work collaboratively with your team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

• Previous retail or customer service experience
• Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a POS system
• Ability to lift 35-50 pounds and stand for long periods
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

The physical demands of this role include:

• Constant standing
• Ability to lift 35-50 pounds
• Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, stretching, and continued use of fingers, arms, and hands

Working conditions may include:

• Indoor and outdoor environments in both hot and cold weather
• Possibly around chemicals and fuel/fuel fumes
• Assisting in stocking the cooler
