Data Engineer, Product - USDS
TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video, and they are seeking a Data Engineer to join their Product Engineering team. The role involves designing and implementing data strategies and solutions to support various product domains, with a focus on user growth and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain efficient and reliable data pipelines to support business initiatives in the user growth domain
- Drive data warehouse design in accordance to long-term product goals
- Work closely with cross-functional analytics and engineering teams to define and build data metrics and dimensions to drive feature launches and growth strategies
- Establish solid design and best engineering practices from a big data perspective
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science or related field
- Experience with performing data analysis, data ingestion and data integration
- Experience in writing, analyzing and debugging SQL queries
- Experience in Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Presto, Kafka, ClickHouse, Flink etc.)
- Experience with modern data warehousing and modeling concepts
