[Remote] New Markets Tax Credits Associate
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Nixon Peabody LLP is one of the largest Community Development Finance practices in the nation, and they are seeking a New Markets Tax Credits Associate to join their Washington, DC office. The ideal candidate will have transactional experience involving New Markets Tax Credits and should be motivated with strong academic credentials and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Represent clients and lenders in commercial real estate finance transactions, including construction lending transactions
- Review title and survey and draft loan documents
Skills
- One to five years of transactional experience involving New Markets Tax Credits and/or Historic Rehabilitation Tax Credits
- Experience representing clients and lenders in commercial real estate finance transactions, including construction lending transactions
- Motivated self-starters with strong academic credentials
- Superb judgment and communication skills
- Commitment to exceptional client service
- Ability to thrive in a demanding work environment
- Strong fundamentals, including experience with title and survey review and loan document drafting
