We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team, working remotely from the Pacific Time Zone. Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, responsible for responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional support. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, and fax, and documenting interactions in Salesforce
  • Recommending, quoting, sampling, and selling VBS products to customers
  • Documenting opportunities where VBS products do not meet customer requirements and transferring customers to the technical community for further discussion
  • Managing all aspects of order fulfillment, from receipt of order to delivery and invoicing
  • Entering new orders, verifying accuracy, and processing order changes and cancellations
  • Resolving customer-specific freight and logistics issues and questions through consultation with the Shipping Department
  • Using the E-price tool to support customer inquiries, including VBS product recommendations, price quotes, and price discounting
  • Resolving information-related customer complaints and implementing corrective action
  • Proactively engaging with assigned accounts to better understand business applications and uncover missed opportunities
  • Assisting with order entry overflow, standard price quotations, and entry of new customer information
  • Contributing to Customer Service Improvement Teams as required

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience
  • 1-3 years of previous customer service experience, with experience in a manufacturing environment and using an ERP system highly preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to provide exceptional support and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders
  • Ability to learn quickly, with a strong understanding of salesforce.com and Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel)
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances
  • A collaborative team spirit, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and other departments to achieve common goals

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience using salesforce.com and other customer relationship management (CRM) systems
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures
  • Experience working in a remote or home-based environment
  • Ability to speak multiple languages
