Responsibilities
As a Remote Hotel Food Service Worker, your primary responsibilities will include:
* Washing food service area objects by hand or with cleaning equipment
* Cleaning dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other equipment, and storing them in assigned areas in an organized and orderly manner
* Cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and wiping down all general food service areas and equipment
* Removing garbage from assigned areas, setting up or breaking down tables, and performing other tasks as needed
* Assisting cooks or other team members as needed, and coordinating your activities with other food service activities and requirements
* Preparing food products safely and efficiently, following standard food-handling procedures
* Participating in periodically scheduled large cleaning projects
* Maintaining storage areas with various products at certain levels in preparation, serving, or storage areas, including service machines
* Stocking storage areas with various products
* Performing other duties as assigned to support the department's success
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
* The ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, callouts, and other non-traditional schedules
* A Food Handler card, Alaska Food Workers card, or ServSafe certification within 30 days of employment
* Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing English
* High school diploma or GED equivalent (preferred)
* Some prior experience or training demonstrating knowledge of cleaning equipment or processes, or a suitability for and interest in this type of work (preferred)
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
As a Remote Hotel Food Service Worker, you will work in a hotel restaurant environment with moderate noise levels. You will be required to stand constantly, walk frequently, and occasionally lift, pull, and push objects weighing up to 50 pounds. You will also be required to work in a fast-paced environment with a medium pace of work.
