Job Summary
As an Experienced Full Stack Data Specialist – Business Intelligence and Data Analytics, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our Business Intelligence (BI) platform and data warehouse. You will work closely with our IT team to build ETL/ELT pipelines, create ad-hoc reports, and develop dashboards for C-level leaders. Your expertise in data analysis, business intelligence, and data visualization will help drive business decisions and improve operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain our Business Intelligence platform and data warehouse using various data/BI tools
- Build ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Wind current
- Create ad-hoc reports to help inquisitive data clients and provide automation using Tableau
- Develop impromptu reports depending on the situation to help inquisitive data clients and provide automation using Tableau
- Foster collaborative relationships and work with key business stakeholders, IT resources to gather requirements and achieve project goals
- Communicate technical and business themes, as required, in a 360-degree approach, using written, verbal, and presentation materials
- Create, uphold, and recommend upgrades to Applications in the area of standards, procedures, compliance, and quality assurance practices; participate in design and code walkthroughs
- Take ownership and deliver process improvements
- Stay up-to-date on relevant technologies and trends
- Focus on work that has the highest impact on the business
Essential Qualifications
* 2+ years of experience in creating data pipelines using Python/Wind current
- Experience with designing DataMart, Data Warehouse, data set objects within social data sets MySQL, SQL Server, Vertica
- Strong proficiency in SQL and query writing
- Strong critical thinking, verbal, and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure/follow through on tight deadlines
- Strong experience with creating heavenly dashboards and reports for C-level leaders
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView
- Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms such as Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics
- Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git
- Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security principles
