Experienced Full Stack Appointment Business Center Registered Nurse – Telehealth and Patient Access Specialist

As a key member of our telehealth and patient access team, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless patient scheduling, referral management, and clinical documentation.

As a Full Stack Appointment Business Center Registered Nurse, you will be part of a dynamic team that values collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage internal and external patient referrals by assessing health concerns and symptoms via clinical documentation review within a call center setting * Schedule appointments, respond to and prioritize incoming patient calls as needed * Telephone interactions require assessment, patient education, and at times crisis intervention * Respond to patient questions appropriately while providing reassurance and responding to concerns * Maintain accurate and detailed records with pertinent information and education within Epic * Utilize current nursing practice to provide patient-focused care while exemplifying service excellence, care, concern, respect, and cooperation * Act as a resource and mentor for access coordinators within the Appointment Business Center * Other duties may be assigned to this position

Essential Qualifications

* Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with an Associates Degree, Nursing Diploma, Bachelors in Nursing, or Masters in Nursing * Valid RN License * Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nursing experience * Current BLS Certification * Strong computer and typing skills

Preferred Qualifications

* 3 years of Registered Nursing experience * Nurse triage, appointment scheduling, patient access, or clinic nursing experience * Call center experience * ACLS certification or obtain certification within one year of hire date
