Job Expectations and Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining courteous, professional contact with co-workers, customers, vendors, and the community.
• Ensuring a neat appearance and good personal hygiene in compliance with blithequark's image standards.
• Supporting and following established safety, security, quality guidelines, and company policies.
• Preserving the safety of self, fellow employees, and others in the work location.
• Ensuring food safety hygiene in accordance with county regulations.
• Following federal law and company standards on carding customers for age-restricted products.
• Working professionally with vendors and contractors.
• Maintaining regular and punctual attendance.

Essential Functions

To excel in this role, you'll need to:

• Provide exceptional guest service, greeting and thanking customers while making eye contact.
• Conduct point-of-sale activities accurately and safely.
• Maintain cash drawer management and perform cashier reconciliation.
• Perform consistent station cleaning and ensure facilities are well-maintained.
• Prepare food and hot beverage products, effectively managing foodservice and beverages.
• Promote store specials and marketing programs.
• Cross-check price of delivered goods for accuracy and distribute goods throughout the store.
• Observe local law requirements for fuel tank activations and fill-ups.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful as a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll need:

• Availability to work a variety of hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional judgment.
• Ability to work independently and in team settings.
• Required up-to-date food handling certificates, as needed.
• Cooking/Restaurant experience preferred.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

This role involves:

• Standing and walking for long periods on hard and uneven surfaces.
• Bending, lifting, pushing, and moving products using proper techniques.
• Working safely with equipment that can create high temperatures.
• Periodic exposure to outdoor conditions and moderate exposure to walk-in coolers and freezers.
• Frequent handwashing and attention to personal cleanliness standards.
