Position Title: Payments Specialist Department: Payment Operations Reports To: Supervisor Settlement Operations Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payments Specialist to manage daily financial operations, including bank reconciliations and payments handling. This role ensures the accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of financial transactions while maintaining strong internal controls and supporting treasury-related processes. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of multiple bank accounts to the general ledger.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies, posting adjustments as necessary.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external banks to address reconciliation issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of reconciliation processes and issue resolutions.
  • Prepare and distribute reconciliation reports for management review

Skills & Abilities:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications is required.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience with high-volume, multi-platform environments.
  • Knowledge of internal controls and compliance standards.

Education & Experience:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in treasury operations, bank reconciliations, or payment processing.
