Key Responsibilities and Expectations

As a Remote BCBA with Vocovision, you will be responsible for providing behavior analysis services to individuals in Washington State. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments and creating behavior intervention plans tailored to each client's unique needs
  • Implementing evidence-based strategies to support client progress and development
  • Collaborating with families, schools, and support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients
  • Providing training and supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other support staff
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of client progress and interventions
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest research and developments in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and incorporating this knowledge into your practice

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Active BCBA certification and licensure in the state of Washington
  • At least 2 years of experience as a practicing BCBA, with a strong understanding of ABA principles and practices
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload remotely, with excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to learn and grow with our team

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable:

  • Experience working with diverse populations, including individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities
  • Knowledge of Washington State regulations and laws related to ABA services
  • Experience with electronic medical records and other relevant software systems
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to supervise and support RBTs and other staff members
  • Fluency in a second language, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and families from diverse backgrounds
