About the Role

As a Remote Chat Moderator, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our official Discord server remains a welcoming and respectful hub for our community. This part-time, flexible position requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of community guidelines, and the ability to make swift and fair decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Moderating Chat Content: Review and manage user-generated content on our Discord server, removing messages that violate our community rules and guidelines.
• Enforcing Community Standards: Issue warnings, mute, or ban users who repeatedly breach our rules, maintaining a fair and consistent approach.
• Investigating User Reports: Examine reports from users regarding potential rule violations, taking prompt and appropriate action.
• Maintaining a Positive Community Environment: Foster a culture of respect and inclusivity, encouraging users to adhere to our community standards.

Essential Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of community moderation principles and practices.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
