Position Description

As a Property Estimator & Transcriptionist, you will be responsible for:

• Receiving descriptions of damaged property items in various formats, including handwritten and audio that may need to be transcribed
• Performing a Google search of the item and deciding on a fair replacement based on a set of guidelines for the insurance company
• Maintaining a minimum number of items per hour post-training
• Participating in light client phone interactions
• Working independently and meeting deadlines

Working Environment

As a Full Time Property Estimator & Transcriptionist, you will work:

• Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm Eastern Time
• One night shift of 11:30am-8:00pm Eastern Time will be assigned post-training to help service our West Coast clientele

Candidate Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• A desktop computer (not a laptop) with Windows 10 or above, dual screens, and reliable internet service
• Webcam and video chat capabilities
• Strong attention to detail, typing accuracy, and efficient keyboard/mouse movement
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Punctual and dependable
• Google Suite experience preferred
• Accurately type at least 50 WPM
• 1 year of data entry experience (required)
