Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Part-Time Delivery Driver to join our team at Omnicare Pharmacy. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a critical role in delivering prescription orders and/or products to customers on a predetermined route and schedule in a company-provided vehicle. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure timely and accurate delivery of medication, equipment, products, and/or supplies to long-term care facilities or patients' homes, while maintaining the highest professional and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide timely and accurate delivery of medication, equipment, products, and/or supplies to long-term care facilities or patients' homes
• Load products/materials and maintain vehicle maintenance, alerting management to any maintenance issues
• Maintain full compliance with all Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations, including HIPAA to ensure patient confidentiality
• Demonstrate a customer service mindset to manage all assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks, supporting the team's ability to fill patient prescriptions promptly, safely, and accurately
• Utilize geographical knowledge of the service area to navigate efficiently and effectively
• Work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, to ensure seamless delivery services

Essential Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A High School Diploma or GED
• A current, valid driver's license in the state at the level required for the vehicle's operation
• Ability to drive for long periods of time and navigate through various terrains and weather conditions
• Prior experience in the long-term care industry or a related field (preferred)
• Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

While not required, we encourage applicants with the following experience to apply:

• Previous driving experience as a limo driver, taxi/bus driver, courier, or gig-economy worker
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong focus on customer service
• Knowledge of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies (preferred)
