Job Title: Junior Financial Operations Specialist

Type: Full-Time, Remote - Colombia and Philippines

Working Hours: Mondays - Fridays 9:00 am - 6:00 pm EST

Compensation: USD $2,000 - $2,500 (salary based on assessment)

Who You Are We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Financial Operations Specialist to join our growing Payment Operations team. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth execution of day-to-day financial workflows and supporting the operational integrity of payments, disputes, and disbursements. The ideal candidate is highly organized, capable of working independently, and comfortable handling sensitive financial data in a regulated environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Execute core operational processes including:

    • Dispute management and tracking

    • Refunds processing and execution

    • Disbursement processing

    • Financial reconciliation tasks

  • Collect and analyze transaction and operational data to support reporting and identify process improvements

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with internal policies and compliance requirements

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customer support, compliance, and finance

  • Use internal tools (e.g., Monday.com CRM) to manage workflows, prioritize tasks, and escalate issues when necessary

  • Assist with audits and regulatory reporting as needed

  • Assist in the identification and implementation of new AI tools and resources to further automate daily tasks

What Skills You Need

  • 1–2 years of experience in financial operations, banking, fintech, or a related field (preferred but not required for the right candidate)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, basic formulas)

  • Experience with workflow or CRM tools such as Monday.com or similar

  • Working knowledge of banking and securities terminology

  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail

  • Ability to take direction, learn quickly, and troubleshoot issues independently using available tools and resources

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
